Terms of Service

Last updated 4 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the CelerCard website and early-access waiting list. Separate terms will govern the CelerCard service when it opens.

In short

This website tells you about a product we are building and lets you join a list to hear when it launches. Joining that list costs nothing, promises nothing, and gives you no account, no card and no financial service. Nothing here is an offer of credit or a promise that CelerCard will launch.

1. Who these terms are with

This website is operated by CelerCard, a financial technology service based in The Gambia. By using this website or joining the waiting list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What we are offering today

CelerCard is in development and not yet open to customers. This website describes the product we are building and lets you register your interest in it.

To be unambiguous, we do not currently:

  • issue any card, virtual or physical;
  • hold, receive, transfer or store anyone’s money;
  • process payments or foreign exchange;
  • operate any account you can log into;
  • provide credit, lending or any other regulated financial service.

Descriptions of features on this site are statements of intent about a product under development. They may change, and they are not a contractual commitment that any particular feature will exist, or that the service will launch at all.

3. The early-access waiting list

Joining the waiting list means we may contact you about CelerCard. It does not:

  • create an account or any customer relationship;
  • reserve a place, a card, or any product for you;
  • guarantee you will be accepted as a customer if we launch;
  • oblige you to become a customer;
  • oblige us to launch, or to launch in your country.

You may leave the list at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing info@celercard.com. If and when we do launch, becoming a customer will require agreeing to separate terms and completing identity verification.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to join the waiting list. By joining you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us is accurate and your own.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false information, or someone else’s details without their permission;
  • submit entries automatically, in bulk, or to disrupt the service;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the site without our written permission;
  • copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to impersonate anyone.

We may remove entries and block access where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

6. Our content

The CelerCard name, logo, design, text and graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and share the site, but you may not copy or reuse its content commercially without our written permission.

7. Availability, and no warranties

We provide this website as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and conditions that are not expressly set out here.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, arising from your use of this website or from the fact that CelerCard does not launch or does not launch as described.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to a site we do not operate, we are not responsible for its content, security or privacy practices. Following such a link is at your own risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies. If we begin offering a financial service, entirely separate terms will govern it.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of The Gambia, and the courts of The Gambia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
